Keyboard controls, larger text and accessible reading features for A Private Consultation’s articles and fixed-question tool.
Text that can grow
Article and question text begins at 22 pixels. The Larger text button changes reading text to 26 pixels. Browser zoom is also supported. Pages use a single reading column, visible navigation and underlined links, without an automatically rotating carousel or moving background.
Keyboard use
Use Tab to move through links and controls. The skip link goes to the main reading area. The question tool uses Move earlier and Move later buttons rather than dragging. After a move, focus goes to that question’s heading and its new reading position is announced. Boundary buttons are disabled when the question cannot move in that direction.
Opening more context
Native disclosures provide article contents, source records and question context. They work with standard browser controls. Every published question remains visible even when its supporting context is closed. Reordering and text download require JavaScript; ordinary reading and links remain available without it.
Reading limits
Accessibility checks cannot represent every browser and assistive technology combination. No tool here provides a medical assessment. The source register and visible related-reading links offer additional routes through the material without needing to use the question-order tool.
